Skills Developed
When you “control” with your 1st hit, you set in motion all the skill building that Palmball provides.

  1. Soft Hands: When you pop it to yourself, if you don’t have soft hands, the ball will bounce off your paddle into oblivion. Train with Palmball and keep that 1st hit close with soft hands.
  2. Ball Tracking: When you control the 1st hit with a pop, the ball will not always be perfect. Stay focused and follow that ball. When you use 2 hits, you are tracking every time.
  3. Footwork: The ball won’t always float right in front when you pop it. You need to have a quick 1st step to move swiftly to the ball. Always be on the balls of your feet and center your body to the action.
  4. Hand-Eye Coordination: The game enhances hand-eye coordination through constant tracking and hitting of the ball.
  5. Fast Hands: Palmball moves quickly and will increase your hand speed. The more you play, the faster your hands get.
